Perfect Edge can cut a wide variety of plastics, vinyls, composites and glass. Since there is no heat in the waterjet cutting process, these materials make for a perfect substrate. An advantage of high pressure waterjet cutting of plastics and composites, is that multiple sheets may be cut at one time, depending on the substrate thickness and the application.

Please note, however, that the cut edges have a "sand-blasted", translucent appearance, compared to the polished edge that laser cutting yields.
