a fax (770-458-9595) or the GET A QUOTE page! Send a dimensioned drawing or file to Perfect Edge along with information including:

• type of material
• material thickness
• whether the customer or Perfect Edge will supply the material
• part tolerances
• special material handling or care considerations

Perfect Edge accepts the following file types, in order of preference:

1. AutoCad 2010 or earlier .dfx or .dwg
2. Adobe Illustrator Version 7 or earlier
3. Encapsulated PostScript Interpreted (EPS)
4. Adobe Portable Document (PDF)
5. Image File (JPG)

If extensive drafting is required, an hourly rate will apply.

Perfect Edge will fax or email back a proposal in WORD PERFECT format. Please refer to the proposal number for future correspondence. Once the quote is accepted, a Purchase Order is required from the customer to confirm the job.

PERFECT EDGE PRODUCTION LEAD TIME

The average lead time is one week. However, large jobs may require additional time. Rush jobs may be completed within 2 days (depending on size) with a 30% of the quoted price surcharge. Perfect Edge does require a minimum charge - please contact sales for more information.

TILE INLAY JOBS

After job approval, tiles should be shipped to Perfect Edge. On arrival of the tiles, a shop drawing will be produced in DWG and PDF formats. The PDF will be submitted to the customer for approval. Production begins after the drawing has been approved. On completion, the inlay is assembled and a digital image produced. The inlay is then disassembled and crated with an installation diagram. A copy of the installation diagram and the digital photo are sent to the customer. For more information, see the flooring inlays page.

PERFECT EDGE CAPABILITIES

Maximum Weight: 10,000 Lbs

Cutting Area: 6 ft by 12 ft. Larger areas may be accommodated with an additional set-up fee.

Maximum Thickness: 8 inches (except carbide and tempered glass.)

Materials which require special setup: glass, acrylic, porcelains, ceramics, certain plastics

Materials that can be cut with the water only head: vinyl, VCT, wood, paper, rubber

Parts at less than 2 inches in size: These must be tabbed to prevent drop out. Tabs can then be broken loose, and the area ground down to clean up the edge. Letters less than 1.5 inches, especially those with a serif font, can not be water-jet cut.

PERFECT EDGE MATERIAL HANDLING CAPABILITIES

Perfect Edge does not have a loading dock. However, two forklifts are available, rated at 5,000 and 7,500 Lbs.

Heavier metal plates should be shipped on a flat bed truck.

SHIPPING FROM PERFECT EDGE

Customers should set-up and schedule shipping to and from Perfect Edge at customer's expense. If requested, Perfect Edge can arrange shipment, the costs for which will be billed to the customer.

Orders can be picked up from Perfect Edge between the hours of 8 AM and 3 PM.

PERFECT EDGE TERMS

Charges for first time customers must be paid at the time of the order pickup. Credit cards (M/C, VISA, American Express, Discover), cash or check is accepted.

Repeat customers are extended 30 day terms after a credit check is conducted.
